Anchor-end Connection

The proper use of the chain end connection (according to DIN 81860) increases safety onboard during emergency situations. The chain can be disconnected from the vessel without cutting it or having a man entering the chain locker. One single person is able to disconnect the chain. The end connection is welded to the wall of the chain locker and fastens the last studlink of the last chainlength. This studlink can be manually disconnected by means of a spindle just outside the chain locker.
